LHJWL 8th Annual Run the Highlands

The 8th annual "Run the Highlands" will be April 28th, 2012. If you'd like to register, please click here.
We host two races: 1 Mile Family Walk and a 5K Run, both beginning and ending at Lake Highlands High School. The 1 mile walk begins at 8:00 AM, and the 5K begins at 8:45.
Run the Highlands is a certified 5K and will be timed using state of the art electric timing. Special awards are given for top overall and masters male and female finishers.The first 800 participants will receive a Run the Highlands t-shirts.
Many of our race participants, families, and members of our community find their way to the festivities at the carnival following the 1 Mile Family Walk and 5K.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Carnival begins at 8:30 in the parking lot of Lake Highlands North Recreation Center, 9940 White Rock Trail, Dallas, TX 75238 which is across the street from Lake Highlands High School.
- Local sponsors (Black, Red,and Wildcat levels) fill the parking lot with booths full of information, freebies, snacks, and friendly smiles.
- Bounce houses, balloon artists, air brush tattoos, petting zoo, pony rides, and live entertainment are many of the fun attractions.
- Donuts, coffee, water, fruit and snack bars are provided for your enjoyment.
- Festivities conclude following the awards the ceremony around 9:45.
SPONSOR BOOTHS
- Black, Red, and Wildcat levels (refer to sponsor form) are eligible for a booth (formerly known as a table) at the carnival.
- Booths are set up in the parking lot of Lake Highlands North Recreation Center, 9940 White Rock Trail, Dallas, TX 75238 which is across the street from Lake Highlands High School. We recommend that you set up between 8:00-8:15. The carnival begins at 8:30.
- Once you arrive, please locate the booth with your name. You are welcome to remove our sign if you have your own.
- Electricity is available upon request.
- Advertising materials, free samples, demonstrations, etc. are all welcome!
